Help needed!!

Hi everyone,

Thank  you for posting your partner's name. There seems to be a problem with students who have not uploaded their work and the other partner cannot review them. Please can anyone who is having similar problems, comment on this post so we can get to know what is happening?

The other reason that I need your help is for the charger of my computer. Perhaps it was mixed up with your chargers on the last day of the presentations. Can you please check and make sure that you do not have two chargers?? Or does anyone remember whether I placed it somewhere or I packed it with my stuff?? I would appreciate it if you could help me with this.

Final explanation for Group A and B

Hi,

As per today class, I am supposed to write and clarify once more the deadlines and the tasks.
Firstly, please comment on the previous post who is your peer review partner and not on your blogs so everyone can see it.
Secondly, after you have identified your partner, upload your draft final report under week 11 dropbox folder. So that your partner will get it download and review it (correct it).
Thirdly, all the changes and the suggestions or comments as teachers usually do, will be with track changes so that your partner and I can see everything.
Fourthly, after reviewing it, upload it under a folder with your name under week 12.
And then the other person gets the reviewed draft, works on it, can make further changes or not and then uploads it under week 13 which is for the final report.

The deadlines are as follows: tonight at 12:00 am you all have to upload your assignment under week 11.
On the 23rd of June at 12:00 am will be the deadline for sending back the reviewed report to its author. Upload it under week 12 with a separate folder with your name.
On the 30th of June at 12:00 am, the final draft shall be uploaded so I can get them all and read it.

One final thing that I would like you to do is regarding the presentations. Please do not send them to me via email but I am going to create a folder on the dropbox and do it there. Upload everything that you used for the presentation that day.

Following you will find the way to activate track changes in your documents.

Attention to both groups

Hi,

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you all on the completion of all projects. Hopefully, it was an experience that you all enjoyed and benefited from it. 

Since the presentation of your project consist only a part of your work, we should continue and focus all our efforts on the final steps of the report.
Some of you asked some more information on the assignment of this week, which was:

Step 6 Identify a peer review partner and share the report with a partner for comments and suggestions.

It means that firstly you have to identify a partner who should be different from the partner that your worked for the presentation, then you should upload your report (which should be a final draft) to the respective folder. You should notify the partner that you have chosen him or her so they can read your report and correct it either grammatically or formally or they could comment and suggest.

Then you get the report back and start reflecting on the suggestions.

Please comment to this message with the name of the partner that you have chosen so I could also see who is correcting whom. The final deadline I am extending until Sunday midnight.

On Monday we could discuss more on the following steps.

Hopefully everything is OK and you are not finding the subject difficult anymore :)

There is one last thing that I would like you to complete within this weekend. Please I would like all students to write their names on the project document.

Notification for group B

Hi everyone,

Firstly, to the ones who made it and opened the blog and already posted on it, I would like to congratulate you on what you have done so far.

I assume that the class is more than just 18 students who have registered their blog and out of 18 not everyone has posted anything on their blogs. I expect the whole class to participate. There are at least another 10 or more students who need to add their blogs.

Gentiana pls make sure that your blog is displayable again as the link is not working.

The assignment for this week if you remember and I already posted it here had to do with the videos that I asked you to watch and post something about them.

None of you has actually done it apart from the comments that were made from three students.

Considering everything, your confusion, your first time experience with the blog and the whole new format of this subject, I will postpone the deadline for Wednesday. Tomorrow you will have the lecture on the blog so there won't be any more excuses that you don't know how to use it.

We will not have seminar together at 2 o'clock but I am thinking to meet on Wednesday so if there are still problems and issues we could discuss them together. We can start at 1 o'clock on Wednesday or you can come together with group A at 3 o'clock. Let me know which option would be best for you.

Please another thing that I would like all of you to follow: please do not send me individual emails if you have any questions or anything that you do not understand. The reason, why we are doing this subject, is to improve communication and foster more collaboration. The question that you might have may be the same for other students so by posting it here on the blog, on my blog, which I hope you are following by email, the others will see the answer. So I don't have to answer the same question for each of you individually.
I get notifications by email so whenever you post a question on my blog I will be able to see it and answer it or other students may do it.

Thank you and keep working to respect the deadline for Wednesday. Tomorrow should not be a day off for you but you need to work for Wednesday.
